GOTEC

The Gateway Occupational Therapy Education Council is committed to:

• Promoting collaborative relationships among the occupational therapy (OT) and occupational therapy assistant (OTA) educational programs and fieldwork educators

• Facilitating opportunities for professional growth of OT practitioners as related to fieldwork education

• Supporting and promoting the use of occupation and evidence-based OT practice

• Serving as a resource to the OT community

PROGRAMS

GOTEC is comprised of Program Directors and Academic Fieldwork Coordinators from Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Programs in the St. Louis area. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION

GOTEC offers several opportunities for continuing education each year, including workshops related to fieldwork education and online Fieldwork Educator Training Modules.
