Summer 2021 GOTEC Fieldwork Educators Certificate Workshop
This is a unique 2-day virtual training experience for fieldwork educators and academic fieldwork coordinators to learn strategies to support best practice in fieldwork education.
Workshop Objectives: By the end of this workshop, the participant can expect to gain:
· Deeper understanding of your role as a fieldwork educator
· Effective strategies to integrate learning theories and supervision models
· Increased skills to provide high-quality education opportunities during fieldwork experiences
· Interaction with trainers through dialogue and reflections about fieldwork
· Engagement in 4 curricular models: administration, education, supervision, and evaluation
· Analysis of strategies to support best practice in fieldwork education
· Materials to share with your colleagues for FW Education training
Cost of Workshop:
$100: includes electronic pdf copy of the AOTA Workshop Manual. Lunch break will be provided during Zoom session and food will not be included since this is a virtual workshop.

Technology Requirements:
Participants will receive a Zoom link prior to the workshop beginning to log into the workshop. Participants must have access to a computer or tablet with a camera and internet connection for eight hours both days.
